# Take Profit

**What it is:** Automatically closes a position once your profit target is hit.\
**How it works:**

* Toggle under **Take Profit / Stop Loss.**
* Set a target price (in cents) **or** a % gain. (Enter one; the other auto-fills.)
* Choose between market or limit execution.\
**When to use:** To lock in gains without watching constantly.\
**Example:** Buy YES at 60¢, set Take Profit at 75¢. If hit, the position closes with a profit of 15¢ per share.

**Why you need it:** Prediction markets move on headlines, tweets, or sudden flows. If you’re not glued to the screen, you might miss your exit. Take Profit automates selling into strength so you capture gains before liquidity vanishes.\
**Example:** You buy YES at 60¢, set Take Profit at 75¢. When the market spikes overnight, your position auto-closes with profit.

Note: Order placement is dependent on Market Liquidity
