# Merge

**What it is:** A function that lets you convert a matched pair of outcome shares (1 YES + 1 NO) back into USDC.

**How it works:**

* Found under **Pro Orders**.
* Select the market and choose **Merge**.
* If you hold at least one full set (1 YES + 1 NO), they will be combined into $1.00 in collateral (minus fees).

**When to use:**

* When you no longer want exposure to the market’s outcome and just want to exit at fair value.
* Useful when liquidity is thin or spreads are wide — merging guarantees $1.00 per set without relying on an orderbook fill.

**Example:**\
You hold 10 YES at 48¢ and 10 NO at 52¢.\
Instead of selling both sides separately, you merge the full 10 sets and receive **$10.00 USDC** (minus fees).\
This locks in your position without worrying about slippage.

**Why you need it:**\
Binary markets always settle to $1.00 per full set.\
Merge lets you “cash out” at that
