# Market Orders

**What it is:** Executes instantly at the best available price in the orderbook.\
**How it works:**

* Enter a dollar amount to buy/sell YES or NO shares.
* Use the slider to allocate a % of your balance.\
**When to use:** For fast entry/exit where certainty of execution matters more than exact price.\
**Example:** Buy $500 worth of YES at the current market price (e.g., 62¢).

**Why you need it:** Prediction market orderbooks are thin. If you hesitate, the resting liquidity may disappear. Market orders let you grab what’s available instantly, ensuring you get into or out of a trade without missing the window.\
**Example:** You see breaking news and want to buy $500 of YES immediately at \~62¢ before odds move further.
