# FAQ

**What is TradeFox?**\
TradeFox is a professional trading terminal for prediction markets starting with Polymarket and Kalshi. It is geared towards traders who want a more robust trading experience, faster execution, easier position/order management, and advanced order types.

**How secure is TradeFox?**\
TradeFox is 100% self-custodial. We use Privy (now acquired by Stripe) for wallet management. Privy’s infrastructure creates non-custodial smart wallets for users.\
We don’t have access to your private keys, and we don’t custody user funds.\
Privy powers hardware-secured, SOC 2-compliant wallets across EVM, Solana, Bitcoin, and more. They’re built on TEEs and distributed key sharding, with passkey and hardware token support for iron-clad security.\
You can export your private keys at any time.\
\
**Can I buy through TradeFox?**\
Yes. You can transfer $USDC, $BTC, $ETH, and $SOL (check the chain and supported asset list in the Deposits section). Funds are auto-converted to $USDC.e on Polygon. You can then use your $USDC.e balance to trade on any market on Polymarket.\
\
**Is TradeFox a wallet?**\
No. TradeFox is not a wallet. It’s a trading terminal built on top of existing prediction markets like Polymarket.

**Do I need to KYC to use TradeFox?**\
No you don't need to KYC to use TradeFox. We use robust wallet and transaction monitoring to ensure that wallets pass AML, OFAC compliance, and sanctions screening.

**Is my data private?**\
We don’t store personal data. All wallet information is managed by Privy’s infrastructure, which is SOC 2-compliant.

**Does TradeFox have an official token?**\
No.

**Will I get remunerated from trading on TradeFox if Polymarket does an airdrop?**\
Yes. TradeFox wallets appear on the Polymarket leaderboard. If your wallet receives an airdrop, 100% of it goes to you — TradeFox keeps nothing.\
In fact, you can verify this yourself by exporting your TradeFox wallet and using it directly on Polymarket. TradeFox wallets are fully self-custodial.
