# Deposits

**Overview**\
The deposit system allows users to fund their accounts with multiple assets across different chains. Regardless of the asset or origin chain, all deposits are automatically bridged and converted to $USDC.e on Polygon, which **serves as** the unified trading collateral for the platform.\
This process leverages ChangeNOW for bridging and conversion, and Privy for managing a self-custodial wallet experience. ChangeNow charges a deposit fee which varies depending on the chain and asset combination. We are switching to a free alternative soon.

Additionally, you can transfer directly from your wallet. There are no deposit fees for direct transfer from your browser wallet. 

**Supported Assets & Chains**

Users can deposit the following assets:

**Deposit Flow**

* Click the **Deposit** button, then select your asset and blockchain. A wallet address will be automatically generated, which you can copy and use to send funds.
* Initiate the transfer from your wallet.
* ChangeNOW will automatically bridge and convert your funds to $USDC.e on Polygon.
* Your funds will arrive in your Privy wallet and be reflected in your Available Balance.

**Timing**

* Depending on the asset and blockchain pair, the process should not take more than a few minutes.
* In most cases, it will be completed in under two minutes.

NOTE:

It is recommended to not deposit funds from Binance. Changenow is taking especially long to process them. All other deposits are working fast as usual. We will upgrade to a better solution soon.
